Welcome back blogger! What a busy weekend! I took 8 teens to Roxana, Illinois for a district competition in sports and arts. During the course of the weekend, I did end up having Taco Bell, which I'll be reimbursed for, but it did feel a little odd paying for it at first.
We are approaching the end of the trail here for the lent fast, and I am still so excited for what I have learned so far! I'm looking forward to finishing this and being able to celebrate Easter and everything God has had victory over!
On Sunday, Pastor Jay and his wife treated me to the Turkey Grange at Eckert's Farm! It was a delicious homemade meal by people from the county, mainly farmers, consisting of green beans, breaded somethingorother, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and the tastiest fried chicken I've ever had in my life! (and I'm serious about that!) That is one meal I hope to never forget!
Saturday, March 24 was Day 28
