I'm not really on the right track for the final week of this! Yesterday, I didn't eat until around 1:00 with a granola bar, and then went to Sam's Club to pick up some supplies for the car wash and cook out fundraiser the teens are doing this weekend. While I was there I enjoyed a plethora of samples, from chicken to chips and salsa, and white grape juice. That was probably the best part of my day, food-wise.
The day finished up by meeting with a college buddy that has apparently now been attending a university close by for like 2 years now and we are just now catching up! The bad part is that I cannot think of a better way for a couple of friends to get together than to go out for a bite to eat! He introduced me to a restaurant in Edwardsville and I had some amazing BBQ Chicken with rice. 40 days is a loooong time to go without something! This is such a lifestyle change, it would take me a lot of practice to make not eating out an actual habit. I am getting back on track though!
The great news is that my friend said he feels like he has slipped out of the habit of going to church, feels like he needs to get back into one, and it looks like he is going to try ours! We all have habits that could either use breaking or making.
