I actually ended up having a fairly decent day yesterday. I had a late start to the day, so for lunch I had a three egg omlet with thick cut bacon and Kolby Jack shredded cheese melting it all together. The new struggle for how to eat right will now be later in the day. I'm picking up one of the senior high teens from school to help me out at the church. School lunches, around here, average 25 minutes, so if a student forgets his lunch he doesn't really have time to think about his options, or if the lunch line doesn't move fast enough, they may only have 5-10 minutes to eat. Yesterday, he wanted to stop at the ol Mc Donald's for a bite, so I enjoyed a large sweet tea while he scarfed down an Angus Burger and large fry. I could almost promise you his burger was taunting me with all the other menu choices I could pick from. I RESISTED! HA! TAKE THAT SCRUMPTIOUS MC DONALD'S FOOD AND YOUR ABILITY TO CREATE A GOOD MOOD!
Last night, I was looking around at what I wanted to finish the day with, but it was late enough that I didn't want to hassle over making a whole meal. Then it dawned on me that I could not remember the last time I had simple buttered toast! I had four slices while watching Pawn Stars and American Pickers. That being said, a new episode of Impractical Jokers comes on next week, and I'm pretty stoked.
