Sharing Is Caring

I went to Mount Vernon on Saturday, which basically molded my day.  Because of not really having anything for breakfast again, I now see the need to figure out how to make that my most important meal of the day again!  For lunch, however, I reheated the rest of my Cheesy Hamburger Helper.

I spent the afternoon with my parents, which resulted in me getting a base drum pedal as a gift from my Dad, for my Cajon.  For supper, I got to enjoy a homemade meal of fish sticks and tater tots from my Mom. I had the choice between the fish or BBQ pulled pork, but the fish sounded like something different from what I've been having for some reason.  It was a good choice.

After the High School Operetta of Guys and Dolls, I was sent home with a bag of frozen chicken, ground beef, and a couple of boxes of Helper for some new meal choices, along with the longest banana I've ever seen in my life!  I'm not the biggest fan of bananas, but this one was good.  Now I'm gonna have to learn how to go about fixing up this chicken the right way so that I don't give myself the gift of Salmonella.

Sundays, according to the actual Lent calendar, are considered celebration days and days of rest, so I went into it thinking I was going to get to eat out!  As it turned out, I ended up eating in with a family from our church.  Eating out came close though; they ordered from a chinese restaurant.  The Orange Chicken and Ham In Rice was really good, but they loaded the dish up for a family of 500, so I ended up sharing my leftovers with the teens that came to church in the evening. (500 may have been a little bit of an exaggeration)  Last night was a crazy night for BREAKOUT due to the extra hour of daylight kinda messing up our flow of Lights Out Hide and Seek...I'm thinking we're gona be doing a different game for the Spring and Summer, but that's a little off topic.

Anyway, good times...good times.
