I got a little thrown off with the auditions for Opening Act yesterday, and forgot that Sundays are for celebrating making it through a week, and that I am able to enjoy a break from the fast for the day while fellowshiping with others. So instead I had continued the fast through yesterday as well, even though I got to enjoy a glass of coke someone bought me at Buffalo Wild Wings after the auditions were over!
Then there was Day 11. Monday. The day I woke thinking, "hey! Maybe my cold is over!" ...Nope. Not even close. Someone apparently turned the faucet on in my nose and reversed it because I felt like I was choking on it all day. (I know! pleasant right!? I had to share) Obviously, this flu was meant for me at this time to make this whole fasting thing easier for me. (I wonder what my stomach is going to say to me once the flu doesn't have control of it anymore..."FEED ME! FEEEEED ME!)
Moving on, I started out the day with what was left of my Entenmenn's Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts. I really need to remember to make sure I get the double chocolate ones next time, these were good....just not "ultra" good. I washed them down with a cup of that delicious 2% milk. YES!
For lunch, I finished off my Four Cheese Lasagna Hamburger Helper. I was thirsty, and then I spotted it...a cup with a mystery liquid inside of it, sitting on the coffee table. I asked Maddy who's it was and what was in it, and she answered by saying it was mine and it had been sitting there for at least two days. (I really need to keep track of my drinks) It was a little flat, but so worth it! I love lukewarm soda! (This might have been my most disgusting day)
I went to an indoor soccer game tonight and had another fantastic tray of nachos! Our team won another shut out: 6-0, and I got to meet Howard's sister, and a friend of his from school named Alex(andria). Nachos are perfect for any game. Hands down.
I still have a lot to learn about conquering this eating out thing...I know.
